For a certain ZDNet.com.au staff member, it's been an entertaining yet equally horrifying week looking at the reader responses to the question: "What is the worst-designed web page or application you've ever seen and why?"
Dozens of responses were received on the ZDNet.com.au version and Builder AU version of the competition pages.
Many nauseating, brightly-coloured, bandwidth and CPU-cycle heavy pages were submitted, but the eventual winner proved that it helps to get in early and have other commenters point out how good the submission was. A ZDNet.com.au anonymous post took out the competition, and the MSDN 12-month subscription, by pointing out HavenWorks.com:

In second was Michael Visser, who pointed out a site so truly bad that were we to leave our browser running last night, we sincerely believe that the page would still be loading such was its weight.
For causing such distress, Michael has picked up tickets to REMIX09.
Thanks to all that entered the competition, it was highly enjoyable viewing the responses, and thank you to all those who left comments and those who are still responding and keeping the bad website laughs alive.
