Ajilon and CSC have each signed two contracts with the Western Australian Police.
One of those will see them compete against each other for the next five years on an IT project services panel to provide infrastructure, applications development, systems integration and consultancy services. Both companies have an option for extension of the contract.
Ajilon's second new contract with the police was of a larger scale, according to the company, with Giles Nunis managing director valuing it at around $53 million. This contract will see it deliver "major IT applications maintenance and support" to the agency for the next five years with the possibility of a five-year extension option.
Ajilon has been taking over police services for the last four months from the former vendor and is now supporting 113 WA Police applications 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, acting superintendent and ICT division head Bill Leonard said.
CSC's second contract was a five-year contract worth around $15 million to supply SAP application support services including upgrade and maintenance work for a police enterprise resource management application.
The Western Australian Police declined to provide further details of the contracts.
