in brief BlackBerry maker Research in Motion has confirmed that its BlackBerry application store, App World, will not be available in Australia just yet. 
(Credit: Research in Motion) "BlackBerry App World is immediately available to BlackBerry smartphone users in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada, with more country launches to follow," a spokesperson for the handset maker said this morning via email. The RIM effort comes on the heels of the success of Apple's own application store, and launches by other mobile operating system vendors such as Google with its Android platform.
