At the recent SAP user conference in Sydney, Geraldine McBride, SAP Australia and New Zealand CEO and managing director, gave the audience an overview of the companies enterprise SOA efforts and unveiled Duet, its jointly developed software with Microsoft.

Duet, formerly known as Project Mendocino, will enable customers to interact with mySAP ERP through Microsoft Office. The software will be able to integrate other SAP applications such as its CRM (customer relationship management) solution in future.

In this video, Michael Warrilow, an analyst at Hydrasight, gives ZDNet Australia his views on Duet and SAP's push into the small- to medium-sized business market.
