Following the news that Creative Director, Ruby Blessing, will be leaving the company in November, Web development company, Spike, has announced the development of a new creative team to spearhead the company's Australian and US projects.
The team of three designers, Martin Sharp, David Moquay and Michael Mesker will effectively be replacing Blessing, who was one of the founders of the high profile Australian Web development company.
Sharp has been working in the design field for the last 16 years and since joining Spike has already worked on Spike's Lemon Ruski campaign. Moquay has a diverse background in film, video production as well as design while Mesker has been working on a range of projects for Spike over the past three years. Sharp will be based in Sydney while Moquay and Mesker will work out of Los Angeles.
Spike CEO, Chris O'Hanlon has said that the three will be given wide scope to develop the creative focus of the company.
Mr O'Hanlon said, " I am committed to giving Martin, David, and Michael as much freedom and imaginative scope as possible to enable them to do their absolute best not only as designers and managers, but also as the key inspirational resources of the group."
