The fifth National Entertainment Industry conference will discuss a range of issues facing both the music and broadcasting industries, and how new media affects them.
Among questions to be answered, is whether online radio can recover from its current slump and the future of digital radio and television.
Twelve key panels have been organised over three days, with over 50 industry speakers dealing with issues including dowloading music, e-tailing, online and offline marketing, digital rights managmeent and "music on the move with mobile phones".
The speakers include Dean Buchanan - DMG Radio; Adam Johnstone - Mix 106.5FM, Mike Summers - Austereo; Richard Kingsmill - Triple J; Jacquie Riddel - Channel [V] and Hamish Cameron from online Radio station www.thebasement.com.au.
