Czech President Vaclav Havel has filed a criminal complaint against the owner of a pornography Web site named after his wife.
The pay-for-view Web site named after Havel's wife Dagmar, displays images of several sexual acts including some with participants resembling the Czech Republic's First Lady on its free introductory pages.
Havel's spokesman said in a statement that the owner of the domain, identified only as M.B, may have committed the crimes of violating others' rights, compromising morality, and unauthorised enterprise.
"The apparent aim of the connection of the president wife's name with the pornographic content of the pages is economic profit," the statement said.
"Internet users may erroneously acquire the impression that the content of the pages have a relation to Mrs Dagmar Havlova, the president's wife, which causes serious damage to her personal rights," it added.
The statement said some of the images on the site depicted violence and showed a disrespect for people, which may be a violation of morality laws. It also said that the owner of the domain was not a registered provider of services on the Internet.
