Optus has upped the ante in the ISP market, announcing an 'aggressive' offer to boost its customer base.
Australia's second largest telco says the move is part of a drive to increase its existing OptusNet customer base of 300,000.
The company claims to be the only major ISP in Australia to allow customers on monthly plans to 'rollover' any unused Internet hours by giving them up to three months to use their bonus hours.
"If...you go on holidays and use only 80 hours in one month, you won't lose out. You can now rollover your unused 40 hours for another month, giving you 160 Internet hours to use in the next two months," said OptusNet's Adrian Chamberlain.
