Open Tele on the way to AU$54m revenue

Open Telecommunications announced today it was on the right track to achieving revenue of $54 million in this financial year.

The company is currently earning revenue from Britain, Germany, Peru and Australia according to Open Telecommunications director Wayne Passlow.

At a telecommunications conference today, Passlow said that revenue from offshore earnings would ensure Open Telecommunications met its prospectus forecasts of net profit of AU$8.5 million and AU$53.9 million revenue.

Open Telecommunications listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in December at more than four times its offer price of AU$1.00. At 1455 AEST today, it shares were down AU$1.36 at AU$10.99.
