One man has been arrested and another is being investigated for allegedly defrauding eBay bidders of US$110,000 for electronics and other equipment that was never shipped, according to a story by the Associated Press.

Federal authorities arrested George Arthur Cruz of California and are searching for Hen Ben Haim, also of California.

More than 240 alleged victims mailed checks or money orders to the Los Angeles area after submitting winning bids for items including computers, camera equipment, musical instruments and replicas of football helmets, according to AP.
