Known as Holden Assist, the technology will include a range of personal safety, vehicle security and information features.
Initial services will be made available to new buyers of the company's Statesman International vehicle from this month.
Holden Assist features crash detection, emergency alert, theft detection, satellite-based tracking, remote door unlocking, engine immobilisation, roadside assistance, diagnostics monitoring, security and personal safety services.
"The services will be accessed either through the operation of a button pad located on the in-vehicle rear vision mirror or via a signal sent from an in-vehicle sensor following an 'event' such as airbag deployment, break-in or low battery warning," Intelematics Australia CEO Adam Game said in a statement.
"Intelematics Australia will also seek to deliver a range of additional services to Holden customers in late 2001 that will focus on providing hands-free, voice-activated access to information and content features including mobile commerce, live concierge, mobile media and entertainment".
