Fairfax's online division, F2, has launched a new broadband addition to its motoring site, drive.com.au, designed to appeal to high rolling executives.
The new section 'Executive Drive' will feature a range of high bandwidth services, such as video test drives of sports, luxury and four wheel drive cars.
With broadband access in the Australian market confined primarily to office environments, the site is aimed at the high spending, time poor executives, who are likely to have more time to look online than in the showroom according to Dean Gingell, Managing Director, Fairfax Online.
"It is tailor-made for the executive user to save them time and keep them informed. Video test drives on the latest high-end cars make it easy to see the latest luxury vehicles without even having to leave your desk," he noted.
The new broadband section has been launched in conjunction with the Sydney Motor Show, and will feature video coverage of the main features direct from Darling Harbour. The service has been produced in association with Big Pond Advance, Telstra's broadband services group which produces content for the its cable and Satellite access customers.
