DotTV, a worldwide source for Web addresses ending in .tv has entered into an agreement with Inplaza -- an international domain registrar headquartered in Korea.

Under the terms of the agreement, .tv Web addresses will be available for registration through the Inplaza Web site, providing access to dotTV names to individuals and companies in the Korean market.

As the Internet rapidly becomes a more visually engaging and dynamic medium, the .tv domain is emerging as the "must-have" Web address. According to GreatDomains.com, an appraiser and marketplace for domain names, the .tv top-level domain has already achieved an overall value rating second only to .com -- an indication that the .tv domain is growing in demand and recognition around the world.

The Korean market already accounts for more than 5 percent of dotTV's global registrations and is the prime target for the company's Asian advertising campaign.

The dotTV browser recognizes Korean characters, which require more complex technology than the Western alphabet.

At Inplaza, domains can be registered for a one, two, five or 10 year term. The company also offers various services related to domain names including registration, payment, leasing, purchases, sales and consulting.
