Dingo Blue and the Bank of Queensland have teamed-up to offer on-line financial services.

The transition from a telephony company into financial services is an Australian first, according to Dingo Blue Managing Director, Martin Paech.

The partnership will give Digno Blue access to a market Paech says is roughly equivalent to 40% of the total household expenditure in Australia.

Bank of Queensland Chief Executive, John Dawson said the partnership helps the bank to provide something -a bit more useful" to its customers. -There are very few banks in the world that have done this," he said.

The partnership initially offers credit cards, mortgages, insurance products, and banking transactions.

Customers will be able to pay their credit card by direct debit and view transactions -- allowing customers to manage their financial affairs on-line -- -like a bank account at home, " said Paech.

Dingo Blue branded credit cards will be offered in the third quarter of the year at competitive rates.

-It probably won't be at below market price," said Paech. Adding that -it's not all about price, it's the convenience, access and price together."
