Users of Telstra's turbulent BigPond ADSL network and cable service are facing yet another day of connection problems, which first surfaced last night.

A message posted on Telstra's service status page this morning says that the BigPond ADSL network is currently having service difficulties.

-Technicians are treating it as a priority," the statement says.

The BigPond cable service is also experiencing difficulties, affecting customers in Queensland.

The status page says customers may experience a slow response with the BigPond broadband cable service.

ZDNet reported last week that Telstra had scheduled a 16-day planned outage due to commence on August 7. However, no planned outages were scheduled for today.

Telstra has been contacted for comment.
