The Australian Communications Authority (ACA) released a public discussion paper on proposed criteria that carriage service providers must meet in order to provide full or equivalent service local number portability (LNP) from 1 January 2000.
The discussion paper requests that carriage service providers undertake preliminary testing against theproposed criteria.
It also proposes a regular assessment process where each industry participant has the opportunity to formally assess its technical solution against the criteria.
