According to ABC News Online, Keelty said yesterday "We need research into the profile of people who use the Internet for crime, particularly those who will prey on young people using the Internet.
"We also need some work done on profiling paedophiles so that we can have a better understanding of where they can seek assistance".
Keelty's remarks came after the Federal Police recently uncovered a massive online child pornography ring, leading to more than 200 arrests and the seizure of almost 400 computers on which more than two million images were held.












Well, maybe parents can rest a little easier knowing that a whole bunch of offenders have been caught. But what is just as disturbing is the question of who produced these "2 million" images (if not solely the apprehended offenders themselves) and what about the victims of these 2 million images?
