These innocuous looking pictures may look identical to the naked eye but the one on the right contains data hidden within almost imperceptible colour differences.
Foggon is concerned that the unit's job could start becoming far more difficult as criminals embrace stenography as a way of hiding information.
The subterfuge only becomes apparent when comparing the number of colours in both pictures, the one of the left has 46,270 colours and 44,311 on the right.

Cracking low grade file encryption is the 'Script Kiddies' first kick at the cat so I am not impressed. And not cracking high grade encryption but relying on there being a human who has the passwords, in custody, is throwing out the baby with the bath-water.
In addition to the above there is no certainty that the information you are finding is the real McCoy or just a Red Herring. I'm sure that real bad guys (Black Hats) would have no problem hiding the real stuff and if caught would have no problem giving up passwords.
The US government has ways to deal with this but they don't kiss and tell.
