Macquarie and CommSecure sign ecommerce deal

Macquarie Bank and online payments company CommSecure have announced the signing of an agreement to work together on ecommerce projects.

Macquarie will work with CommSecure Consult, CommSecure's consulting division to implement the deal. CommSecure Consult is a joint venture between CommSecure and online design company Internet Spider.

According to CommSecure, "CommSecure Consult is currently in negotiations with several other major Australian organisations in the banking, legal and transportation sectors, and expects further deals to follow soon"

CommSecure is a subsidiary of gold explorer WSM Ltd. whose shares were up in lunchtime trading after the announcement of the deal.
