in brief Printing solutions company Lexmark Australia and New Zealand has appointed Dietrich Buechner to the newly created role of general manager, Enterprise and Government.

He was previously Services director at Lexmark Germany. Buechner has been with the company since 1993.

"Dietrich has a strong record of outstanding achievement within Lexmark and his breadth of experience will prove invaluable," Eddie Noel, Lexmark ANZ managing director, said in a statement.

In January, Westmead Children's Hospital renewed its contract with Lexmark for the supply of 260 new printers and multi-function devices.
