His name synonymous with the PC industry, Michael Dell this week made a fleeting visit to Australia to meet customers, employees and members of the media. The Dell chairman and founder fielded questions on exploding laptops, Windows Vista, future PCs, and the last time he tinkered with a computer. One day after his visit, a company representative in the US said it planned to recall 4.1 million notebook batteries. Dell spent less than 48 hours on our shores, but ZDNet Australia has this package of highlights from his press conference in case you missed him.
