Adelaide-based Internet Service Provider Internode said it had established the hotspot throughout public areas of the two-story terminal, including a 3,400 square metre retail precinct.
"Most airports only offer wireless access in airline lounges or you need an ISP account to use their wireless networks," Adelaide Airport corporate affairs manager John McArdle said.
"No other airport hotspot in Australia offers free Web access throughout the terminal."
The first arrivals and departures at Adelaide Airport are scheduled from Saturday. The terminal is equipped to handle up to 27 aircraft at a time and 3,000 passengers an hour.
