The two companies said the agreement meant they could utilise each others' networks to provide services such as virtual private networking and broadband Internet to customers with offices in both Sydney and Melbourne. BigAir presently provides broadband services to businesses and high-rise apartment buildings in Sydney, while Access Providers delivers voice and data services to businesses in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
The partners said they had "agreed to explore the potential for joint network deployment and sharing in other cities across Australia".
