Err, just out of idle interest, Anon, have you followed Sol's career? Prior to being CEO of Telstra, he was the CEO of Orange SA, appointed to the role in 2003.
So, interesting comment, yeah?
yeah and i stayed there about 14 months if I remember! Great job done I'm sure in that time span... Good riddance to all the Americans. I worked with them and they were complete and utter pricks. Talk about anachronistic - I saw one of the 3 Amigos literally screaming at one of his team. I thought this style of leadership went out about 25 years ago. it certainly didn't foster any kind of team spirit and just made everyone hate the American leadership team and did not aid performance. Australia is far better off without them...
NB.... meant to say he (Sol) stayed there 14 months...
Its about time this piece of American trash went back to be with his own kind, its just a pity hes taking back so much ill-earned money with him.
I think he fits the model of the typical American who expects to be treated like some kind of god whenever he is out of his own country, "coz, like America is just so god darned good everyone should be happy when we come to their country and bend over backwards to accommodate our toweringly overinflated egos".
Sol "sun shines out his arse" Trujillo is a Nazi character that neither deserved his position nor fulfilled it. His Hitler-ish treatment of the Telstra techies is that of 1930's style or again Nazi tactics. The guy, like Hitler, is a tedious brat who demolished 2 telecommunications companies before he came to OZ & he did nothing different here. The problem was that people knew he was incompetent & his incompetence was broadcasted over the net for him to see. Sol didn't like it but he got the money for screwing us anyway.
I wonder if Sydney is around reading this now or if his job description of protecting Sol has been cancelled bcoz Sol ain't here no more. What will I write about now that Mr Hitler has returned to the USA. Pompous little dweeb with the moustache that suits.
If it looks like Hitler, yells like Hitler, steals like Hitler & destroys like Hitler... it's dog-****.

As a Frenchman I can attest there isn't any justification for Mr Trujillo's assertions about Australia.
Mr Trujillo had a great job and salary in Australia. He should try to apply as CEO at "Orange" (our Telstra)... He would not stand a chance of getting it.
