Telstra won't hand over IP to competitors

Our content licensing agreement with AAP stipulates that the material must be taken down 30 days from the date of publication. Therefore this particular story, having exceeded that time frame, has expired. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    There is no need to involve Telstra in the rural role out process in 80-90% of cases and certainly not if they continue with attempted bully tactics.

    Just let Optus, et al, lay cable to the rural towns and let local ISP's distribute from there by wireless broadband.

    Let Telstra take care of the rest with the rollout they are currently doing.

    And ignore the mis-information being put out by Telstra that wireless is not reliable enough.

    Our history shows this arrangement works perfectly well.
