Telstra price rises "completely consistent" with ACCC regime

    Customers leaving the telstra network? Thats okay, we'll (telstra) just increase the monthly service charges to compensate and while we're at it, we might as well degrade some of the lower priced services to 'encourage' people to pay more for higher end services.

    It is amazing that the Australian government can not learn for other countries mistakes when it comes to privatising telecommunications. This price increase just proves the case even further that Telstra as a business can not be trusted to ensure a viable and honest future for access to resonable telecommunications.
