The ACCC are full of words but no action. I have zero confidence in their ability to change this monolpoly.

What about the people who can't get adsl.. The best service we are offered is ISDN 128k.. at $50 per month for 1g. But if you play a few games, this capping is gone in no time, so you are forced to use other companies for internet service, but once you do this Telstra will then charge you for a 'times call' So you have to pay Telstra another $20 to get un-timed calles. So to get a 'broadband' connection that is twice the speed of a modem connection costs about $120 pm..
Come on ACCC make Telstra expand it's adsl service so that more people can get real 'Broadband'

Bahhh,HUMBUG. The ACCC is a toothless tiger, all noise and no action. How many times does T(H)elstra have to abuse both their wholesalers and the public, before they act ? Has the ACCC EVER forced T(H)elstra to toe the line? Never! The monopoly has it's own way all the time and rips everyone off in the process.

And when they do finally drop prices, we discover its because they are able to 'bully' those who actually offer decent plans. ACCC, its time you set an example and took action once and for all...

The ACCC will NEVER force telstra into line. AFter all, isn't the ACCC the place where good telstra execs go when they retire?
