nextG might be in a lot of towers but that means very little as the old analogue mobile service actually was more reliable then nextG
WiMax is the better and cheaper solution.

(Aren't these guys ever sorry.)
telstra sorry ...........not a chance
As that would mean there was compassion and the need "to do the right thing" within said company
telstra has NEITHER
Oh boy, you people are desperate.
The problem for you is that in your desperation you travel into the world of fantasy. It is an undeniable fact that Telstra is (and will continue to be) Australia's biggest and favorite Tel co. Suggest you check the stats.
Concerning the Telstra promotions, if the ACCC is so pedantic, I am sure there are hundreds of other ads in Australia that could be looked at.
It's not going to matter soon anyway as old things will pass away and all things will become new as Mr. Howard is swept from Office.

Yes, and interest rates will go up, unenployment will rise again and then what?
After being told I at Hornsby NSW Telstra Shop that WiFi in a nearby suberb was 100%. Guess what.....not so. Lack of interest by Telstra for post sale support.
WiFi in a suburb near Berowra? You have to be joking, if that was the case it wouldn't be Telstra. If you were to beleive what a $25K pa checkout chump said in any store then you need help.
I saw an advertisment for a Toshiba Laptop which states: Weighs Nothing. Does Everything.
Now if the ACCC doesn't step in and stop this misleading advertising then they will finally prove they are don't care about true advertising standards.

Telstra was busted for illegal advertsing and then trys to turn this around into a PR stunt saying that their coverage is better than Optus's !!!!
Hopefully the will be made to make full refunds to all customers who bought the terrible NextG phones and cannot get adequate coverage when the false and illegal advertising was underway.
