Not Enough! Anonymous -- 30/07/06 (in reply to #120139225)

Hell, I come from a small rural town that we have complained, and complained, and complained about the bloody noise in most phonelines in the area. If I ring my ISP, they tell us that they would have to send a guy out at my expense to test the phone line (despite the fact that I can hear and so can they the static in it).

Long story short, ADSL dropouts are common to MOST people in the area, and telstra won't get off their **** to fix it. $50 per day isn't enough... shove atleast 3 naughts after that - might be worth something then. Hell, train operators in victoria get slugged more for a late train on the same day 5 mins and 59 seconds from time!

A slap on the wrist! Keith Styles -- 31/07/06 (in reply to #120139226)

I agree 100% with your suggestion.

As usual, the Minister has let Telstra off the hook again, with nothing more than a tap on the wrist.

There's an old saying "Absolute power corrupts.... ABSOLUTELY!)
