    The $30 a month plans are apalling rip-offs for even light users. The ACCC is currently investigating Telstra about their $30/mo plan.

    The next plans up are almost certainly cheaper for most users, and certainly are lower risk. Ideally, choose a different ISP that offers shaped access to limit unexpected costs.
