The National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA), the organisation charged with unifying patient records across the nation, is on the search for a new chief financial officer in what will be the second major leadership change announced this month.
Current CFO Sally Pearce has decided to leave the company to take up another offer elsewhere. She will be finishing up at the e-health authority at the beginning of October.
Her departure follows the appointment of new CEO Peter Fleming who will step into the role at the end of September, replacing interim chief executive Andrew Howard. Howard stood in after long-standing CEO Ian Reinecke left the authority in April.
The new blood has, however, not been limited to the executive team, with David Gonski being appointed to the position of chair to replace Tony Sherbon.
The new team will look to manage developing systems for electronic discharge summaries, pathology reports, specialist referrals and medication management, a focus suggested at a recent stakeholder forum.
