Analysts no sfa Simon -- 09/04/09

Don't know why anyone bothers with analysts -mostly people who failed in a real job or like the sound of their own voice.

Raising NBN capital is no problem for the govt and there will be plenty of investors happy to invest. There's $Bs for contractors at stake and guess how you'll get on the panel?

As for wireless, the analysts should do a couple of years technical training befor being allowed a public opinion. Don't they realise that it's a shared medium with physical restrictions of bandwidth? Suitable technology for roaming but not for high quality, high bandwidth delivery to the home and business.

Being able tp participate in SAS, eHealth and pay per view services will make a big difference in the comming decades.

It is important to remember that this $43bn project is from the same Government that brought us the completing underwhelming Grocery and Petrol web sites, both of which have been outstanding failures. If they cannot get these minor IT projects "right', what chance is there of them properly developing and managing a $43bn project!
