Yes to Broadband Network Mame du Bois -- 11/06/07

A high quality broadband network is as important to the Australian economy as road infrastructure. The Howard government is now only discovering this in 'pre-election revelation' because he knows there is widespread support for it in the business community. The government also realises that the corporate spoilt brat, Telstra, is not going to be a positive influence on the issue.

Govt skeptical on Broadband Simon Goslett -- 13/06/07

Id like to understand how many years the proposed FTTN infrastructure is to be paid for. The world class Telstra AXE infrastructure was costed over a life of 18 years (or there abouts) Are the Telstra and G9 networks costed over a similar life span? If the ROI is five years, then we will be ripped off.
