CDMA vs NextG DJS -- 28/07/07

The claim by Brett Riley from the Telstra Country Wide Group that the NextG network already provides better coverage than CDMA is patently false. In some areas it may be the same, but it is indisputable that the coverage is not as wide. A mobile phone service is country wide, not area specific. If it doesn't provide the same coverage country wide, as it clearly does not, then it is not as good.

I cover this more extensively in the ZDNet article on "Telstra premieres Nokia for Next G line-up". Do read it.
