A "mistake" ?
Just another one of Conroy's Telstra bashing techniques so he can confiscate Telstra's assets at for the lowest possible price.
Gee look all the little back flipping Telstra puppets, who were only last week saying, "we need complete openness and transparency".
Sen Conroy should reveal ALL docs and account for every dollar you said.
But you are now crying because "what they were asking for has occurred", lol!
He hasn't accounted for every dollar. He's leaked a document that contains confidential information about one privately owned company that affects their competitive advantage and potentially the value of the shares for millions of shareholders.
He hasn't leaked any private information for any other (foreign) telcos. Now there's two possible reasons for this:
1) They were smart enough not to trust this criminally incompetent buffon with the information.
2) This criminally incompetent buffon who is taking childish and spiteful action against a company that he's incapable of negotiating with.
The common factor for both of these, is that we're dealing with a criminally incompetent buffoon.
The sad thing is us, the people voted this f-wit into office.
I think you will find that this has happened on both sides, Liberal or Labor before..
Like Conroy's half ar sed apology?
If he gets away with this, the government has a green light to "accidently" release confidential information on any private company that chooses to disagree with the Labor administration's dictatorial whims.
Whatever your opinion of Telstra, their shareholders or previous/current management, do you really want to live under a government that acts with such inconsiderate malice.
Again.. This has happened before on both sides of the fence. Trying to beat it up is stupid at best.
No scalps will be taken for it, at most, the mister will get a slap on the wrist.
so is conroy the french naturalist, buffon or maybe the juve goalie buffon?
i think you meant buffoon, buffoon.
Um... competitive advantage? ... Try monopoly! Conroy is simply working to get our communications up-to-date with the rest of the world, and reasonably so being that Telstra seem to like keeping us back in the stone age.
Absolutely Anon.
Even the Telstra puppets admit Telstra intentionally hold back new, cheaper technologies, to keep the easy fixed line, monopoly profits going for as long as they can, at our expense.
Here's a quote then the link to what Telstra supporter Steve said a couple of days back (with my reply below it, via the link).
..."My understanding of naked DSL was to avoid forcing customers to have a Telstra telephone when they wished to install a DSL service.
So why would Telstra provide naked DSL to avoid its own telephone service and then replace it with VOIP. This does not make sense"...

Why do you post anonymous, and then answer yourself as RS.
Unlike you, disgusting TLS shareholder, don't think I'm the only one here commenting, under many different names.
Oh greed boy, unlike you again, I have nothing to hide and I put my initials to all of my comments.
If it ain't got those initials it ain't me, no matter how much you think it is, Detective Scrote!
You are the only one on this planet, that believes what you just said. You constantly comment under many different aliases, you often submit a comment anonymously and then you instantly answer it yourself. You are a pathological liar, and you really do think you are something that you are not. Thank goodness, most of us realize it, and that is why we pity you. I wish you would take the advice of one of the poster's on this forum, and just shut up. You certainly deserve all the criticism you get, that's for sure.
I'm sure these are all me too, eh Telstra puppet, lol -
http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/communications/soa/Telstra-broadband-price-cuts-imminent-/0,130061791,339299265,00.htm
Think what you want Detective Scrote, but if you are stupid enough to believe I am the only one here who hates your greed and Telstra's abuse of their monopoly, inherited position (and then they even dare to whinge, too) then you are sadly mistaken. Coincidence, just like you were sadly mistaken with those TLS shares, lol.
But where is your name? What are you afraid of?
You troll anonymously, like the greedy little Telstra puppet you are, with no concrete info just being an imbecile and although you do nothing else well, you do that well.
There are normally about 50 stupid Telstra comments here per day and they all (apart from maybe a few) come from 3 people Sydney, Mike and Vasso.
3 greed filled imbeciles who just can't accept their stupidity in paying $7.40 for T2!
But at least one person on this planet believes me, because no one in the universe believes you and your many ridiculous comments and stupid sugary Telstra rhetoric, puppet!
Why not show us your (lack of) wisdom and comment on this?
http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/communications/soa/Tanner-Telstra-split-not-a-Labor-back-flip/0,130061791,339299196,00.htm#320389752
BTW, all the criticism I get is from 3 greedy imbeciles - so what!
But if you want me to shut up, then take your greedy Telstra idiocy over to Vasso's "business spectator" blog and comment with the rest of the greedy bast*rds and leave us humans to dicuss comms!
It sure is. This disgraceful minister should be banished from public office for his rank incompetence.
Why don't you just shut up, RS. You are nothing but a pain in the ars e.
Is that you Vasso or Sydney?
Regardless, I'm glad I'm getting to you Telstra puppet and getting to the rest of the HOGS (handful of greedy shareholders).
Everytime you comment and reply to me, more and more people know you for what and who you are - a greedy Telstra puppet!
They then rightfully, take your stupid comment in that context, lol!
You know, I have been following this for a while now and must admit, I am looking forward to both to the fiber network and the split of telstra. Telstra has held this place to ransom for long enough. As a consumer, this is wonderful.
Whilst I can understand the anger of some of the Telstra Sharholders, I do have a little sympathy for them, but in the end, its shares.. You run a risk as with any investment. I do have a portfolio, however it dose not include Telstra. I off loaded them many many moons ago.
Please dont be bitter that you didn't
Jimmy, It's nothing to do with share values it's to do with Labor Government ethic values.
Your portfolio may not include Telstra shares but next time you examine any of your managed funds and/or retirement funds you will be pleasantly surprised at the number of Telstra shares you own - This is common to most Australians.
I am pleased that you are looking forward to the fiber network, so say all of us. But the $43 billion dollar Question is - In which decade, will NBN Co be in a position to grace us with a similar announcement.
"The company also confirmed that its four year-long transformation has largely been completed, giving Telstra world-class IT systems, platforms and infrastructure – like the Next G™ and Next IP™ networks – that will benefit the company, customers and the nation for many years to come."
Telstra Investor Day, Media release 28 October 2009
Translating the jumbled words:
" like the Next G and Next IP "
Allow me to unjumble for you Vasso, in the form of a limerick ...
There once was greedy fool named Vasso.
Stupidly bought Telstra shares... ya know.
And just like poor Sydney
He'd too give a kidney
For that worthless old share price to grow
Well wasn't that such an enlightening piece of information. Three cheers for Jimmy Jack.
There once was a fellow called RS,
whose brainpower was not in excess,
he ranted and raved when he could easily have saved,
and invested in Telstra to excess.
Never a thought of your own ey Syd? You're nothing but a puppet and/or cheap and nasty imitation, lol.
But since you liked that lets do it again x 3...
There once was a greedy fool named Sydney.
Stupidly bought Telstra shares... didn't he.
Now prays to the gods each night
For his worthless shares to come right
Just $4 each.. he'll sacrifice a kidney
///
There once was greedy fool named Vasso.
Stupidly bought Telstra shares too... ya know.
And just like poor Sydney
He'd too give a kidney
For that worthless old share price to grow
///
There was also this greedy uber-fool... Ne wIn
Stupidly thought Telstra shares a shoe-in
"If you knew what I paid you'd cry"
Was his repetitive lie
So that's three clowns... don't know what they're doin'
It multiplies
TLS has just hit $3.30!
You are now back to where you were in 1997, Vasso, lol!
Now if Telstra can leap forward to 1997 too, our comms will also improve.
But seriously, I hope the shares continue to improve for the sake of the NON-GREEDY, hard working mums and dads who did invest in TLS.
The fact that a few of you disgusting, sickeningly greedy individuals will also gain, is like firendly fire in war. It's a tragedy, but an unfortunate part of the greater good.
There are NO non-greedy telstra shareholders. In fact being a holder of any company's shares is a greedy thing to do and you shouldn't b**ch and complain when those shares drop in value and wipe thousands off your portfolio. The ONLY reason they bought T shares in the first place was the misguided promise that they'd make a lot of money in a very short time. The fact that the opposite happened neatly explains why folks like Sydney keep on blindly supporting T in the faint hope that their stocks might once again be worth something more than 1997 levels.
The entire sharemarket is NOT something that any mum and dad investor should have anything to do with. Its controlled and corrupted by the big boys who have the necessary software and financial backing to carry out hundreds of share transactions each second (making only a couple of cents each time, but BOY does that add up, just ask Goldman Sachs).
Much like gambling at a casino, you're freaking STUPID to ever invest more than you can afford to loose, and yet thats what the estimated 1.4m aussies did with telstra stocks.
You are right Vasso, it is high time that we all ignored this raving lunatic.
You said that about 4 weeks ago "anonymous"!
Remember? I asked you about TelstraClear leeching off Telecom NZ, the D3 satellite and more!
But as usual you had no answers to the truth and your greedy Telstra shareytale lies couldn't cover so, you didn't want to play anymore and refused to correspond further (but did so within days totally ignoring the questions, lol), "eh anonymous"!
It may be best for you to ignore me and the truth so you can continue on in your own little make believe "Telstra Wonderland". A place where you all live in a great big gingerbread house full of money, eh greed boy!
Sydney, you have probably made that idiots day, as he will now devote more of the 24/7 he is in front of his PC, composing more of his childish and endless drivel. We really should feel sorry for the poor man, and stop feeding his affliction.
Hi Mike... TLS back to 1997 again whooppee...
See, nothing changes. Bird brain RS continues to demonstrate his weird non treatable affliction.
RS has said so many times before, he's a Telstra customer x5. He's not against Telstra, he's against the greedy Telstra shareholders. As long as the greedy TLS shareholders continue to blindly defend Telstra, RS will be here to expose your greed. When you greedy TLS shareholders decides to discuss the topic more rationally without bias then he will stop calling you HOGS and discuss with you like humans instead of like greedy TLS zombies.
BTW, he always put his initials to his comments because he's got nothing to hide. Perhaps Renai can confirm for us, I'm sure you can see all IP addresses.
I too, am sick of seeing post from greedy TLS shareholders refuse to acknowledge that as with any investments, there are RISKS. You are betting on Telstra being a wholesale/retail monopoly forever, WRONG. You lost your bet. Offload those shares and invest in mines and energy or something. Build a bridge and walk over it. You invest, invest = risks.
RS posing as someone else again
What a joke you are. We all know and realize who you are, what you are, and what your initials stand for RS. You are nothing but a recalcitrant scumbag, who despises anyone that happens to be a Telstra shareholder. You continually berate all and sundry with unintelligent and belligerent crap, referring to Telstra shareholders as being greedy, and yet not so very long ago, you had the temerity to suggest you would be happy to "grab a few" if they got down to $3. This proves without a shadow of doubt that you are, if nothing else, a first rate hypocrite. You plead for a decent reply to your drivel, but you continue to dish out your non stop vile and disparaging insults, to all who disagree with your never ending verbal diarrhea. I suggest that it is time you extricated yourself from that PC you are so fervently attached to 24/7, and step outside and smell the roses once in a while, you raving lunatic.
Well done Mike Ne win, you have finally borrowed a set of balls and put your name to your ridiculous childish idocy, at last.
Bet it won't last long though!
But I'll now let everyone else judge for themselves, your odd, usually anonymous - lol, personal insecurities (pun intended) directed against me (as above) with your daily RS this and RS that even when it's not me, lol.
But you never make even one comms comment!, eh, oh, hypocritocal Telstra supporter/OPTUS CUSTOMER, lol!
PS Detective Scrote, if you think all of these comments come from me, you really are naive and even stupider than I first thought!
At $3 TLS would be a bargain, that's not greed that's commonsense, something you obviously know nothing of...
Enjoy your vast TLS losses!
It's not balls that are required to answer your crap RS. It is the fortitude that is necessary to stop oneself from stooping to your low level of behaviour. You are this forums biggest and most consistent pain in the ars e !
You must be relieved that no balls are required idiot, Mike Ne win, because you don't have any.
I knew you borrowed them this morning and would stop using your name and again start your anonymous stupidity, like the low life POS you are.
Typical and entirely expected reply from Mr Rat Sh*t. Nothing changes.
There once was a pauper name Mike
Greedy TLS shareholder... if you like
But he's with Optus to the end
Says he gets a 14% TLS dividend
You keep makin' a fool of yourself... tyke
