Aussie chief Taya leaves Avaya

Avaya's managing director of its South Pacific region Carlton Taya has left the communications specialist.

Taya and South Pacific sales director Peter Dillon had "left their positions at Avaya South Pacific for other opportunities" a spokesperson for the company said.

ARN had reported that Taya and Dillon had been asked to leave.

Andy Hurt, who was regional director, channels for Avaya South Pacific will take Taya's role in an acting capacity, the spokesperson said.

Avaya was currently looking for a replacement for Taya, the spokesperson said.
