Telstra Gangsta shoots back Kieran Foy -- 05/04/06 (in reply to #120132184)

Time to run these 'hoods outa town' Helen.Every time they open their arrogant mouth they show why tougher regulations are needed. You have now manufactured a totally out of control destructive corporate bully that thinks it is answerable to nobody.Sack Trujillo now.And the rest of the imported gangsta's.

    I think not ! Anonymous -- 05/04/06

<<$90 charge reflected the cost of having someone go to an exchange and physically switch a customer across.>>

I think not. It's not physical, it's done via software on a System 12 exchange. Don't swallow this Tel$tra BS.

Telstra Hussein Bob Krautner -- 06/04/06

Well, Telstra just gets better and better under Mr Trujillo's loving hands. Maybe the ACCC should just reject every submission Telstra make out of hand then Telstra can't say that the response took too long.

I just can't believe the tone Telstra takes these days. They're sounding more and more like a teenager who's not getting what they wanted.

Whilst I can agree that there would be a cost involved in attending exchanges to physically move these connections, there is no way you can convince me that Telstra assign a tech to go to the exchange at that time solely to do that job.

Therefore the cost would logically be apportioned between alll the jobs that they would and could do at that time.

Trying to get the Third Party Providers to bear all the costs for each visit is nothing less than piracy.

In the words of the immortal (virtually) Darren Hinch:

    Shame, Telstra, Shame.
