In brief ISP Internode has announced a AU$9 million plan to install its ADSL2+ kit in 64 exchanges. In addition to 18 previously announced exchanges, Internode plans to put its DSLAMs in 22 in NSW, 14 in Victoria and 10 in Queensland. The company has already started work on installing its equipment in 18 exchanges across Australia. According to the ISP, Internode now has its high speed broadband kit in 90 exchanges and plans eventually to increase the number to 170. Last week, Telstra announced the switch-on of ADSL in 211 remote exchanges across the country after a funding dispute with the government was resolved.
