in brief TelstraClear has reappointed Ericsson as systems integrator for its IP network with a three year contract.

Telstra's New Zealand subsidiary issued a request for tender for the contract, but Ericsson regained the deal it has held since 2001.

The networking giant has a cosy relationship with the carrier. Last year it won the NZ$50 million contract to build TelstraClear's wireless network in New Zeland's North Island.

The systems integrator contract also covers support services and supply of equipment for TelstraClear's "Private-IP" Metro Ethernet Network and MPLS core.

The value of the contract was not disclosed.
