OzEmail announces broadband pricing By Jeanne-Vida Douglas, ZDNet Australia May 31, 2002 URL: http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/communications/soa/OzEmail-announces-broadband-pricing/0,130061791,120265643,00.htm
Australia's number two ISP OzEmail has launched its broadband offering, OzEdsl, together with a colourful new marketing push featuring Olympic Taekwando Gold Medallist Lauren Burns. OzEmail CEO Justin Milne confirmed the offering would be principally targeted at prelisting OzEmail residential customers, however he refused to be drawn on how large a group it might target. Under the plan new broadband customers are expected to cover the cost of the Alcatel Speed touch USB modem, and can elect either to install it themselves or pay for installation. In a similar vein to the trial OzEmail conducted prices will be as follows. Per month, OzEdsl 256 will cost AU$59.95 and include 500Mb downloads. The OzEdsl 512 service comes with either 1Gb included downloads (AU$79.95) or 4Gb included downloads (AU$99.95). The high-end offering, OzEdsl 1500, also comes in two forms, 3Gb included downloads for AU$159 or 10Gb included downloads for AU$399. All plans charge additional usage at AU$0.15/Mb.
