No wonder Australia Post is rich Terry from Belmont -- 19/10/07

Take care if you request delivery of wine. The Wine Companies contracted to Australia Post's probably do no know that if the driveway to your house "looks from the AusPost driver's seat" anything like difficult they will deliver to the local Post Office. It doesn't matter to them whether that office is a Agent and cannot store cartons of wine. After you receive a notice in your post box you have to go to the Post Office and "cart" your wine to the car to deliver it to your own home. Pity Australia Post does not recompense you for delivering your own wine. I have advised those wine companies I have previously bought from that I will not order from them if they use Australia Post to "deliver" their goods
