TechOne makes performance buy

in brief TechnologyOne today said it had acquired the rights to the Web-enabled strategic planning and performance management software of fellow Queensland-based corporate software vendor OutcomeManager.

TechnologyOne had already been selling the solution to its own clients, but is planning to expand the software's capabilities after bringing the technology in-house. The group's executive chairman, Adrian Di Marco, said one task would be to tack on green functionality.

"An immediate focus will be to develop this into an end-to-end risk and sustainability management solution to track carbon emission reduction efforts, and to view the ongoing management and visibility of risk in major projects," he said in a statement.

TechnologyOne will take over all of OutcomeManager's customers, under "similar" terms to existing agreements. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
