in brief Seek has recently appointed a new CIO, Carey Eaton, from inside its ranks, replacing former CIO Tam Vu.

Eaton moved into the role on 1 September, filling the gap from Vu's departure in July, according to a Seek employee.

Previously, Eaton had been working for Seek as the company's product director, Seek said.

The Seek employee was unable to say why Vu, who had been appointed to the position in 2005, with more than 15 years of IT experience under his belt, had left.
