In brief Changes in the Qantas management team have lead to CIO Jamila Gordon scoring a new boss from the ranks of Jetstar.

Jetstar CFO David Hall has moved up to take up the role of group general manager corporate services in Jetstar's parent airline Qantas, effective 28 November. IT will now fall under his wing, with Jamila Gordon his direct report.

Apart from IT, Hall will on behalf of the CEO, to whom he will now report, enable coordination between corporate executives and supporting executive committee meetings and reviews.

Qantas CIO Jamilla Gordon's boss had previously been CFO Colin Storrie, appointed earlier this year after the previous CFO Peter Gregg, who had played a strong role in the airline's technology purchasing strategy, left the company.
