KPMG IT advisory loses partner

in brief Rob Goldberg, partner at KPMG's IT advisory, has left the firm within the last month to return home to his country of origin, the United States.

Goldberg has taken up a role as the head of IT Audit for US chain Walmart, a spokesperson for the company said. Apart from KPMG, Goldberg also has Accenture and Anderson Consulting on his resume.

He had left on his own volition and on good terms with the firm, according to the spokesperson. The team at KPMG "wished him all the best for the future".

KPMG had not yet appointed anyone to fill his role, the spokesperson said.
