Jukebox heroes

Why choose a portable MP3 jukebox over an ordinary MP3 player? Two words: storage space. These two jukeboxes all can store over 1,000 MP3 files. If you can handle the added heft--and relatively higher price--of these jukeboxes, then you can carry your entire music collection with you.

This review is on an early version Nomad Jukebox. Denny Atkin should have uploaded the latest firmware if it was reviewed recently. The Nomad Jukebox does have a seek function and I have personally uploaded 3 hour long audio books in WMA format without a hitch. I agree that there is no bookmark but then I always break up my audio books in seperate chapters and use the seek function to find where I left off. This review should be updated to be fair as PCMagazine has awarded it the Editor's Choice in August 2001!
