Fujitsu wins Qantas deal

in brief Fujitsu has won a five-year deal to provide Qantas with all of its user facing service for both domestic and international operations.

The deal sees Fujitsu provide and support all Qantas desktop, email, storage and collaboration systems in Australia and overseas.

"Qantas was very impressed by the service outlined by Fujitsu in their bid process," said Qantas executive manager corporate service and technology, David Hall, in a statement.

The news comes on the back of Fujitsu announcing its second acquisition in as many months with the purchase of local SAP consultancy, Supply Chain Consulting.
