Ericsson, Vodafone sign support services deal

Ericsson has signed a new contract agreement with Vodafone Australia for its network support and repair services.

Ericsson announced today that Vodafone would purchase Ericsson's support and repair services for the next three years.

The purchase of support and repair services is expected to further support Vodafone's GSM network in Australia by utilising Ericsson's solutions, including in-house network capabilities.

Ericsson's partnership with Vodafone Australia started in 1993 when the company provided GSM equipment and services to then Australia's newest mobility service provider.
