Three weeks after it told ZDNet Australia that it would follow the US lead and sell budget computer packages to the small business market it has yet to finalise details, despite the deals to be launched this month.
Compaq is still working on details, including which machines would be included, what the specs would be and what price the products would sell for.
Reports indicate that the models used in the promotion in the US, Evo and ProLiant, are likely to be kept by the Compaq, Hewlett-Packard merged entity.
