Ambo siren sounds for ASG Group

Victoria's Metropolitan Ambulance Service (MAS) has signed a five year deal with ASG Group for IT service support and management services.

ASG will provide support services for MAS's service desk, desktop, network and server environments as part of the deal. The contract value was not disclosed.

MAS evaluated a number of vendor bids before awarding the contract, though the identities of the unsuccessful bidders were not available at time of publication. Both ASG and MAS could not return ZDNet Australia's calls by time of publication.

The deal follows other recent ASG wins in managed services, including Qantas and Ericcson.
